Description
Use Deepblue's antigen test to check for the presence of the antigenic molecule produced by COVID-19 infection. The vitro qualitative detection method is a simple way to see if the antigenic virus proteins are present in nasal or throat mucus. This test is less sensitive than the PCR test but gives much faster results. However, you may still need a PCR test for travel abroad or entry to certain events.
Use this test in case of initial doubts when you suspect to have contracted the virus. The incubation period, or the time between when you contract the virus and get symptoms, is between 2 and 14 days. It often takes 5 to 6 days before the first symptoms appear. Common symptoms are fever, fatigue and dry cough, sore throat and stuffy nose.
